"In October 2022, my husband and I, along with two friends, took the gondola ride up Cannon Mountain. It was a spectacular day, and I took many photos of the surrounding mountains. I then chose a few of my photos as inspiration for this painting. It was a glorious, brisk, autumn day, with bright blue sky contrasting with the Franconia Notch area. New Hampshire is a beautiful place for painting, no matter which season you choose for inspiration."
