This stunning puzzle features 40 colorful quilts created by the women of Gee’s Bend – a small Black community in rural Alabama known for its extraordinary quilting aesthetic using found and discarded textiles. Over generations dating back to the days of slavery, the women of this community have created hundreds of quilt masterpieces that are now part of the permanent collections of fine art museums throughout the world – including the Currier Museum!
